El cerebro y la percepción del tiempo

Resumen


La percepción del tiempo es una función fundamental que requiere la actividad neural de varios sistemas cerebrales. La habilidad de percibir el tiempo se ha asociado al funcionamiento de un reloj interno así como con áreas cerebrales específicas. Dentro de la investigación de la percepción del tiempo la edad es una variable que presenta cambios a lo largo de la vida mientras que las emociones presentan variaciones en la sobrestimación y subestimación del tiempo. De esta manera esta revisión pretende destacar la importancia del estudio de la percepción del tiempo.
