Abstract

An educational experience to a student with a diagnosis of mental retardation is applied from the university for the purpose of social inclusion programs. It was carried out the case study as a research method. The developed tasks to support independent living for the selected student were developed in the community with the participation of Psychology student and as part of behavior modification course. The results are satisfactory but must remain the systematic execution of actions to achieve further development of the capabilities of the selected student.
