Estudio de la preparación de mineral y su influencia en la velocidad de sedimentación

El trabajo tuvo como objetivo determinar la influencia de la preparación de la pulpa en la velocidad de sedimentación en la planta niquelera "Comandante Pedro Sotto Alba" de Moa. El estudio se realizó a escala de laboratorio simulando el proceso industrial mediante una serie de experiencias con minerales de los distintos frentes de arranque de la mina; se hicieron determinaciones de los por cientos de sólido antes y después de la sedimentación, pH, conductividad y otros parámetros físicos. La velocidad de sedimentación fue mayor en las pulpas de los frentes que presentan en su composición material serpentinitico, independientemente del porcentaje de sólido.Downloads
