Aplicación de la espectrofotometría al análisis químico de hierro en lateritas

Se estudia la aplicación del método espectrofotométrico de determinación de hierro con ácido sulfosalicílico en le evaluación del contenido de este elemento en minerales lateríticos. Se realiza una doble dilución de estra para hacer corresponder el contenido de hierro presente en el mineral, con el intervalo óptimo de la curva de calibración. Se seleccionan cinco muestras naturales, y se les realizan determinaciones con el método propuesto y con el procedimiento clásico de valoración con dicromato de potasio. Se comparan estadísticamente los resultados a través de los contrastes para las varianzas y las medias demostrándose que la técnica investigada es útil para el análisis químico de hierro en lateritas a cualquier nivel de concentración. Se evaluó la precisión y exactitud del método con muestras patrón de referencia y se obtienen resultados satisfactorios.Downloads
