Particularidades geológicas y geoquímicas del arco volcánico cretácico desarrollado en la provincia Guantánamo, Cuba

Se describen las características geológicas-geoquímicas del arco volcánico cretácico desarrollado en Guantánamo, las cuales son de gran importancia desde el punto de vista metalogénico. En esta provincia se destacan cuatro anomalías complejas, según Nikolaev, asociadas a las andesitas y basaltos de la formación Sierra de Purial y a los contactos con las dioritas y dioritas cuarcíferas del Cretácico Superior, de gran importancia desde el punto de vista metalogénico. Para cada anomalía se calcularon los parámetros geoquímicos siguientes: coeficiente anómalo, coeficiente de mineralización, productividad convencional y areal, así como la fila de rango, que indica el espectro geoquímico de la anomalía. Las asociaciones Cu-microelementos descubiertas, que participan en la formación de flujos de dispersión, permiten decir que la región es perspectiva para Cu y Cu-polimetálicos.Downloads
