Abstract

Se realizan ensayos de preparación y concentración para una muestra de mena de grafito del yacimiento Cerro Osumita con el objetivo de establecer parámetros de moliendabilidad y estudiar las condiciones de flotación con el fin de lograr un grafito de calidad industrial. Como resultado se obtiene que esta mena libera las hojuelas a los 4 min de molienda y que al ser sometida posteriormente a un proceso de flotación convencional, en tres etapas, alcanza una calidad de 57 % de C y 26 % de Si02
