Análisis comparativo de las anfibolitas presentes en las zonas de Macambo y La Tinta, Sierra del Purial, provincia de Guantánamo
Abstract
En el presente trabajo se exponen las principales características geológicas, petrográficas y petroquímicas de los cuerpos de anfibolitas que afloran en el flanco sur de la Sierra del Purial. Se da a conocer las yacencias de estas rocas, así como sus paragénesis minerales, caracteres texturales y estructurales, etcétera, los cuales, en muchos casos, difieren notablemente, así como también las posibles zonas de mineralización asociadas con estas rocas. La autora basa su trabajo en el estudio de numerosas muestras de anfiobolitas, colectadas en las áreas de Macambo, y La Tinta durante los diferentes itinerarios geológicos realizados por profesores y estudiantes del Instituto Superior Minero Metalúrgico de Moa, en las investigaciones geológicas que realizan en la provincia de Guantánamo.Downloads
