Extracción de níquel (II) y cobalto (II) con ácido caprílico en presencia de 2-picolina
Abstract
En este trabajo se estudia la distribución de ácido caprílico entre fase acuosa y cloroformo para conocer su estado de asociación en fase orgánica, en un rango de concentraciones de 0,05-1,2 mol/1. El disolvente utilizado fue cloroformo y como resultado se comprobó que el ácido está parcialmente dimerizado, lo que se comprobó por espectroscopia IR. Se determinó la constante e distribución de la 2-picolina realizando un estudio similar al ácido, con lo que se comprobó que el proceso transcurre mediante una distribución del ácido concluyéndose que mejora la capacidad de extracción de este. Se estudio la extracción de níquel (II) y cobalto (II) usando como extrayente ácido caprílico y 2-picolina en cloroformo, comprobándose que dicho sistema presenta posibilidades para la separación parcial de ambos metales.Downloads
