Sobre la edad de la fosa de Bartlett (Caimán) y la magnitud de los desplazamientos de la placa del Caribe, de acuerdo con los datos geológicos del norte de Centroamérica y Cuba oriental
Abstract
En el trabajo se analiza la edad y magnitud de los desplazamientos a lo largo de la zona de la falla Bartlett y su continuación en América Central a lo largo de la zona de falla Chixoy-Polochic. Se ofrecen además, datos sobre la evolución geológica de las áreas cercanas a ésta falla en el sur de Cuba oriental, Haití y áreas adyacentes. Por último se supone que la edad de esta zona de falla puede remontarse a inicios de la era Cenozoica en el área del Caribe y el cretácico en América Central.Downloads
