Presencia de carbono orgánico en las menas de plomo y zinc y su importancia en el beneficio

Abstract

El trabajo expone un estudio acerca de la presencia de carbono orgánico en las menas y rocas encajantes de plomo y zinc de Santa Lucía y Castellanos. Se realizó un análisis del contenido de carbono orgánico durante el proceso tecnológico de las muestras y durante el beneficio. Según los resultados obtenidos en los yacimientos cubanos de plomo y zinc, la distribución del material carbonoso está relacionada con particularidades textura-estructurales de las menas; además se pudo observar la posibilidad de contaminación de las menas y lo peyorativo que resulta el incremento del contenido de C orgánico para el proceso de beneficio.
