Análisis reológico de las pulpas lateríticas crudas en la planta de lixiviación de la empresa Moa Níkel S.A.
Abstract
Se presenta un estudio reológico realizado a las suspensiones minerales que se alimentan en la planta de lixiviación ácida a presión, que se desarrolla en la compañía productora de sulfuro de níquel más cobalto, Moa Níquel “Pedro Sotto Alba” S.A. En la investigación se determina el modelo más representativo para estos tipos de materiales, la influencia de la temperatura y concentración de la fase sólida sobre los parámetros reólogicos del modelo ajustado. Se pudo observar que las pulpas crudas analizadas, en el rango de 45 a 48 % de sólido y temperaturas entre 27 y 80 oC, se comportan como fluidos Herschel Bulkley y que además, sus propiedades reológicas están fuertemente influenciadas por la temperatura y la concentración de la fase sólida; los modelos matemáticos que describen esta influencia se brindan en el trabajDownloads
