PROSPEC: Un sistema de procesamiento e interpretación de datos geólogo-geofísicos
Abstract
En muchas ocasiones el análisis de los datos geólogo-geofísicos se dificulta por la complejidad de los mismos y también por el número de elementos y atributos a considerar. El desarrollo y la aplicación cada día mayor de las técnicas de computación ha permitido utilzar técnicas de interpretación complejas que consideran simultáneamente varios atributos. El sistema PROSPEC se basa en la utilización del parámetro complejo, conjuntamente con varias transformaciones de los datos y como resultado del procesamiento se obtienen los puntos o zonas del perfil que son más perspectivos para la localización del objeto geológico buscado (cuerpo mineral, campo mineral, falla, etcétera). El sistema posibilita resolver esos puntos o zonas perspectivas sin necesidad de evaluar perviamente los datos de forma independiente. Se incluye un ejemplo de su utilización con datos tomados de trabajos geólogo-geofísicos en el noroeste de la provincia Pinar del Río.Downloads
