Preparación rápida de muestras de mineral laterítico mediante la aplicación del secado controlado
Abstract
El trabajo plantea soluciones que mejoran el proceso de preparación de muestras de mineral laterítico basadas en la modificación del esquema clásico de secado de las muestras en el cual se aplicaba el secado completo como condición necesaria para la molienda. El tiempo de secado se reduce de 24 ó 48 h a 2 ó 3 h, se utiliza una mayor temperatura y se emplean envases más apropiados. Se demuestra que el aumento de la temperatura bajo estas condiciones no afecta la representatividad de las muestras. El aspecto positivo del trabajo está dado por la reducción del tiempo de respuesta en el control de la minería, la reducción del consumo de energía eléctrica y por la posibilidad de incrementar el número de muestras a preparar.Downloads
