Abstract

The main components of the system were characterized and the calculation methodologies for the selection were analyzed. A calculation procedure was established for determining the parameters of the cooling cycle with the assistance of the ammonia-water equilibrium diagram and through the mass and energy balance calculations to determine the amount of heat and water required for its operation. The areas of heat transfer required for the heat exchange in the evaporator, condenser, absorber and generator were identified. It is proposed to install three water cooling plant by absorption fed with hot water supplied by ABSORSISTEM, S.L. WFC SC30 model with a capacity of 100kW each.
