Abstract

An overhaul was conducted to the automatic system of the radiators installed in the existing 60 MW HYUNDAI electric generator at Felton, establishing their control through the variable [temperature]. In this work, WinCC will be used as SCADA because of its proven efficiency in various technological systems, quoting all the plants of this kind located around the country as an example With this system, it is possible to observe the temperature variations, behavior and control the electric motor inlet and outlet to the radiators from the control room, creating a loop between sensors and the computer drivers through a SIEMENS automat of the S7-300 type. A parameter control was incorporated to record the system temperature, thereby coordinating the temperature with the operation of the electric motors.
