Abstract

A strategy was developed to intervene in the teaching-learning process so that students consolidate literacy, acquiring an improvement in their school performance, both in the corresponding grade and in subsequent grades, as well as reducing negative behaviors. The strategy was implemented in the Regular Education Service Support Unit number 55, located in the General Vicente Guerrero full-time elementary school. By employing the strategies of the intervention plan, the students achieve an improvement in learning, as well as in the school and emotional performance, so that they are at the level of alphabetical conceptualization, acquiring the identification and pronunciation of the syllables, both in the writing as in reading. Likewise, they demonstrate greater motivation, interest, safety, self-esteem and autonomy in carrying out the activities, which will favor in the future the process of integral learning of the child.
