Abstract

 The use of concrete and timber composite structures in the structural performance if deformation was analyzed as a technique for reinforcing patrimonial structures. Its use in the intervention of horizontal slabs allows recovering the mezzanine to face use changes and consequently the overloads that this usually causes, increasing the rigidity to flexion when achieving that there is an adequate connection between both materials so that they act in solidarity. The reinforcement of horizontal slabs, offers an improvement in the work of the structural set through the use of composite structures. It is concluded that the use of lightweight concrete implies an improvement in the reduction of the weight of the section itself.
