Abstract

The physical-chemical and geo-environmental parameters of soil and water in La Granja sector from Moa were evaluated. To characterize soils and water laboratory analyzes were carried out. It is obtained that grazing area is mainly affected by the processes of chemical weathering and erosion by cracks, which causes the removal of the superficial layers of soils and low density of herbaceous vegetation.  Soils have a low content of main macronutrients and micronutrients are within the allowable values.  Waters are above the values referenced in the standards consulted due to their physical properties. According to their chemical properties all essential elements are below the norm values. By implementing the action plan; production milk can be increased from 1 to 1.5 liters daily per cow to 2.5 and 3 liters daily per cow besides the increasing production of food and vegetables and the sanitation of the study area.
