Updating the exploitation Project from Feldespato Pico Tuerto deposit by applying a professional software

Abstract

The mining exploitation project of Feldespato Pico Tuerto deposit was updated by applying professional software to ensure the development of mining works. The database was created in Excel with the geological information, which was subsequently imported into Gemcom software (GEM 6.5), allowing to develop the geological modeling and obtaining the global 3D model of the terrain. Resources were re-estimated and the schedule for rationally exploiting the deposit was obtained. A total of 83,779.52 m3 geological resources were estimated, 46 928,641 m3 belongs to the measured category, 21 711,726 m3 to the indicated category and 15 139,153 m3 to the inferred ones. All the exploitation project parameters were calculated from the re-estimation.
