Reading animation service for preschool children

Abstract

A reading animation service was designed for preschool children of the Viet-Nam Heroico primary school in the municipality of Moa, with the aim of promoting love for books and reading in children from an early age, in addition to satisfying the Interpretation needs required by children at this level of education. For this, an exhaustive documentary analysis was carried out that allowed examining various sources of information related to the subject. Surveys were applied to the preschool teacher, pedagogical assistant, parents and a structured interview with the children, supported by the game. Observation was used to find out the procedures and behavior of children in the face of reading animation activities. The methodology used to carry out the service design was proposed by Terry-González (2009), a merged model of the existing methodologies for planning a service. With the implementation of this service in preschool education, the role of the school librarian is enhanced, making the activity of animation to reading an important task of her work in the library.
