Abstract

The objective of this investigation is to characterize the processes determining the erosive-cumulative dynamics in the area and the impact caused by anhtropogenic activities. In order to achieve the objective, a series of geologic-geo-morphological methods were used; such as, the morphometric and geological photo interpretation methods, field work and soil survey. Geodesic, geo-morphological and geophysical data collected from previous investigations were also used. These investigations allowed the evaluation of the geomorphological conditions of the coastal basin of Moa; which is characterized mainly by a high complexity, determined by various geological processes that are conditioned by the tectonics of the territory.
