Análisis tectono-sedimentario de la paleocuenca Sabaneta
Abstract
Se presenta un estudio estratigrafíco y paleotectónico de la paleocuenca Sabaneta sobre la base de un análisis Iitofacial biofacial y de paleocorrientes. Se realiza una reconstrucción palinspástica del pre-Eoceno Medio, mostrándose los grandes desplazamientos horizontales a que fueron sometidas las secuencias rocosas depositadas en la paleocuenca, así como el aporte de vulcanitas tanto desde un arco paleogénico septentrional (Sierra Maestra) como de uno meridional.Downloads
