Endurecimiento por rodadura de pasadores de esteras en equipos mineros

Se evaluó el comportamiento microestructural del acero martensítico AISI 1045 en los pasadores de las esteras de rodaje de los equipos de laboreo minero de la industria cubana del níquel, con el fin de esclarecer las causas de la deformación de los pasadores. Se realizaron ensayos con pasadores nuevos y luego de retirados de su vida útil. Se empleó el método de microscopía óptica para el análisis microestructural y se hicieron perfiles de microdureza para analizar el efecto del endurecimiento por deformación. Se encontró que en la estructura martensítica del acero tiene lugar una disminución gradual del tamaño de los granos desde la superficie hacia el núcleo del pasador por el efecto de la rodadura lo que provoca un endurecimiento adicional en frío.Downloads
