Los paragénesis minerales en las menas cromíferas del yacimiento Potosí, Moa, Holguín, Cuba.
Abstract
El estudio de las menas cromíferas del yacimiento Potosí, localizado al nordeste del municipio Moa, se llevó a cabo a través de diferentes métodos de investigación de minerales, lo cual ha permitido profundizar en el conocimiento de sus menas, de las diferentes paragénesis existentes y además corroborar la presencia de rutilo (TiO2) en las espínelas cromíferas. También se han identificado paragénesis sulfurosas primarias, típicas de las menas magmáticas de licuación: pirrotina-pentlandita-calcopiritas-pirita, ocupando especialmente los sistemas de grietas y microgrietas de las menas cromíferas. Se identificaron paragénesis sulfurosas características del proceso de serpentinización de las rocas básicas y ultrabásicas del complejo ofiolítico: mackinnavita y haezlewwoodita; así como fases de minerales del grupo del platino asociados a los sulfuros de licuación, a la heazlewoodita y a las espinelas cromíferas.Downloads
