Análisis químico de fases en lateritas cubanas

Abstract

Se elaboró un método de análisis químico de fases para menas niquelíferas oxidadas de la corteza de intemperismo cubana, és­te está, basado en la disolución selectiva de estas fases minerales en diferentes disolventes, y permite determinar las si­guientes formas de níquel: níquel fácilmente soluble, adsorbido, no enlazado estructuralmente; níquel asociado a silicatos y a minera­les de manganeso y  níquel asociado a oxihidróxidos y óxi­dos de hierro y cromo. Se aplicó sobre menas lateríticas oxida­das con resultados satisfactorios, por lo que se recomienda para el control de la calidad del mineral de alimentación de la industria del níquel, y en la prospección geológica de los yacimientos niquelíferos cubanos.
