Valoración mineralógica del material procesado en la empresa Ernesto Guevara

Abstract

Se presenta un estudio de las fases minerales presentes en el material que se alimenta a la industria Ernesto Guevara y se valoran las trasformaciones que sufre dicho material durante el proceso de reducción y lixiviación carbonato amoniacal. Se realizaron análisis granulométricos, de difracción de rayos X y Espectroscopia de Absorción Atómica, lo que permitió establecer que la presencia de olivino y magnetita en estos materiales, dificultan la recuperación del Ni en el proceso metalúrgico.
