Beneficios cognitivos cerebrales de la práctica de la danza

Resumen

Se evaluó con tamizaje neuropsicológico a bailarines profesionales para conocer su perfil cognitivo. Para ello se utilizó el método trasversal, no experimental, descriptivo. Se tomaron como muestras cuarenta bailarines profesionales de diferentes escuelas de la Ciudad de México. Se encontró que algunas funciones cognitivas de los bailarines se encuentran a un nivel normal alto, esto se apoya en las evidencias que indican los beneficios cerebrales de la danza y su posible aplicación para intervención en pacientes.
