Iniciación al estudio de las fases minerales portadoras de níquel en el horizonte limonítico del yacimiento Moa
Abstract
Se caracterizan mineralógicamente las principales fases portadoras de níquel en el horizonte limonítico del yacimiento Moa, valorándose, mediante técnicas de difracción de rayos-X, la distribución del níquel en los distintos minerales. Se definen las diferentes fracciones granulómetricas en que suelen concentrarse las fases minerales principales, evidenciándose el carácter entremezclado de los minerales lateríticos en estos yacimientos de cortezas de intemperismo. La goethita y las espinelas son los principales minerales portadores de níquel en las limonitas, en tanto la gibosita y la hematita son fases no portadoras que coexisten con las fases de mineral útil.Downloads
