We are pleased to offer readers the third issue of 2018 with nine contributions from our professors and researchers. Interesting topics such as the K / Pg limit in western Cuba, the probabilistic spatial behavior of some chemical elements in the ferroniqueliferous deposits of northeastern Cuba, the characterization of the waters of the Cayo Guam river and the geomechanical behavior of an ornamental rock deposit in the province Granma, among others, appear in this installment.
