Propiedades físico mecánicas de las rocas de la formación EL Cobre en la ciudad de Santiago de Cuba.
Abstract
La Fm. El Cobre ocupa un área aproximada al 35 % del territorio de la ciudad de Santiago de Cuba. En este artículo se realiza un estudio de las características, composición, estado y propiedades físico mecánicas de las rocas de la Fm. El Cobre. También se hace un análisis ingeniero geológico del agrietamiento de estas rocas, se valora su influencia en la resistencia y estabilidad del macizo rocoso que compone las rocas de los miembros Caney y Hongolosongo. Apartir de los resultados del análisis de las propiedades físico mecánicas de las rocas, se ofrece la valoración ingeniero geológica del territorio como base natural para las obras ingenieriles. Se analiza el área como posible variante (variante norte) para la ampliación y crecimiento de la ciudad de Santiago de Cuba, según el Plan Director de la ciudad.Downloads
