Abstract

The accuracy of the polygonal measured in the location of Camarioca Sur was evaluated to obtain new technical parameters for the geodesic densification net taken into account the use of total stations. The polygonal traced by the technicians of GEOCUBA group were used as reference, validating them with the softwares Topo6, Autocad Map and Autocad Civil 3D 2010. Global positional system (GPS) Leica 2010 was used for the control of works, taking as reference the support points used by GEOCUBA Oriente Norte group. It is concluded that when total station is used, it is possible to joint polygonal of first and second category because of a higher accuracy of measurements.
