Modeling the Cross Section Area and Belt Width of Belt Conveyors Operating in Laterite Ore Bodies and Construction Aggregate Deposits
Keywords:
Keywords, ore hauling, mining, modeling, belt conveyor.Abstract
The objective of this investigation is to obtain a model allowing the determination of the cross section area and the exact belt dimension taking into account that the area of the load cross section is included in a coefficient (constructive coefficient or shape coefficient) in design and operating manuals for belt conveyors. These values are tabulated and are empirically selected considering the desired productivity and standard values established for certain materials.Downloads
