Abstract

A study was carried out to identify the elements of the knowledge system of the subject Anatomy Physiology II that allows treatment of school hygiene. Theoretical methods such as historical-logical, analysis-synthesis and inductive-deductive methods were used to study the theoretical background on school hygiene in Cuban university pedagogical training; empirical methods such as observation and an unstructured interview with teachers of the subject to learn about their knowledge and treatment of school hygiene during the teaching-learning process in students. As a result, the elements of school hygiene that are addressed in the subject knowledge system are graphed, which facilitates the subsequent design of teaching materials.
