Abstract

Neuropsychology is a discipline that studies the human cognition, including the executive functions. The latter are very important because it allows us to adapt and respond to the environment. They have been related mainly to the front lobe (LF), specifically in the prefrontal cortex (PFC). Some of the functions of the PFC are the verbal fluency, mathematical processing and working memory. These functions have been differentiated among sexes and, more recently, among sexual orientations. However, they remain mainly among heterosexual and homosexual groups. Bisexuality, defined as an attraction for both sexes, has been barely studied because often it is not considered a real sexual orientation. The objective of the present work is to look through the existent evidences about the bisexuality and the executive functions.
