Abstract

Psychosocial and neuropsychological effect of blows to the head in children and adolescents The clinical, epidemiological, etiology, treatment, psychosocial and neuropsychological factors of sports concussion were described, as well as presenting clinical cases and research that show the effects of this injury on children and adolescents. Brain concussions appear in high-performance athletes and in recreational activities, especially in combat or collision sports.
